To Alexandra’s family, i know a couple of months have passed since Alex’s funeral, but i wanted you to know that this is the first time i have heard of this sad tragedy. Alex has inspired me in every aspect of my life, that the thought of her not being with us is bringing me to tears, right now as i write you this letter. One of my goals in life was to be able to tell her that, face to face. I have fundraised $340.00 and will be continuing to fundraise so Alex’s dream will be fullfilled at $1 000 000. It was that day when she was on the Oprah Winfrey Show that my heart connected with hers, in which there is not one day where i don’t think of her. I think of her strength, her will she had to survive, and her joy for life. She was a true inspiration, she is a true inspiration. To you, her parents, i wanted to thank you, you have shown me what it is to be good parents, to help a child fullfill what they love the most, helping others.
