Yes, they were stupid, but that likely means that they'd be easy pickings for someone with larcenous intent. It is indeed a sad thing that we have people in our society who cannot determine with or without aid that your posting had nothing whatever to do with job applications, or that your blog is entirely unconnected to any large discount retailer. These people need our protection (well, after we've had a liitle laugh at their expense, at least).
