Did he just skip or did he protest? Seems to me he had issues way before the immigration issue and now the adults in his life would rather hide behind what people are saying rather than admit they screwed up.
Why did this child have access to a rifle? The father bears the burden for this tragedy for irresponsible gun ownership. Let’s not make this any more than it is.
Vice President of school intimidates child by telling child that he will be sent to prison for trying to exercise free speech, and intimidated child somehow obtains a firearm and commits suicide.
There are several issues here:
the child’s access to a firearm
intimidation of child with prison threat
(probably a malicious lie)
free speech

This Anthony Soltero was born in the United States and was a U.S. citizen who was 100% protected by the U.S. constitution. He didn’t attend the protest, and he was on probation at school. How is he a martyr?
Anthony Soltero was no Civil Rights Activist. He was just a troubled student. He was supposed to be in school. The protest could have been made on a Saturday. If immigrants (legal or illegal) want to protest and wave the flag of their “native” country around here in the U.S., they can do so in THEIR NATIVE COUNTRY. Whether or not they are legal or illegal, immigrants are just kidding themselves. If they love their country so much, why did they leave it to come here, protest that their country is better than the U.S., yet not live in their native country?
Anthony was a good friend he was a person who didn’t always follow the rules, heck I sometimes did work for him in second period I am not going to say that he is lazy but he did have a manner of messing up. The media is stupid for saying that it was Mr. Benett’s fault which is not actua;ly the case. Anthony just wanted to ditch school. Nevertheless he will always be remembered as a good friend and we should support his family this is what he would have wanted.
