A quick congratulations to Sonia, Rachel, Jillina, Ansuya, Michelle, Sharon Kihara, Ana Saeeda, Petite Jamilla, Saida, Georgianne, Aubre, and Colleen… and, of course, Issam for delivering another great tour, another great show, and most of all, for surviving another season on the road. Wonderful to see you (or see you again).

what a great show! I’ve seen the Superstars DVD, but this is the first time I’ve seen the show. I thought it was phenomenal, and all concerned should get big zaghareets. My husband remarked that Rachel Brice is creating her own new art form. To me, her style is not really tribal, because she is such a sensitive interpreter of the music (which is something I haven’t seen in any other tribal performance). Kudos to Jillina for putting the show together — very nice mix of solos and group numbers. Of course, I’d like to see more folkloric dance included…
And it would be great if they were in a more fitting venue, like maybe the Shriver.
